#13 Earthquake

Hey everyone,

So some of you may have heard that there was a 7.2 earthquake on the island of Bohol.  It is less than 75 miles from me.  Hey we are totally fine here.  President said that we could send a quick email yesterday but I didn't think you would find out about the earthquake so fast. It was super crazy and we had to adjust our schedule a bit.  Well I am actually doing really good.  The only damage that was done in my area was a large tree fell down in the swamp next to our house, but for the people in Bohol they have a lot of damage.  No deaths in Danao or much damage, but a lot of the missionaries have been told to really focus on service.  All of the missionaries are totally fine and are now pretty much just helping with clean up. All of us are having a great time and we are safe.  We have been feeling aftershocks for the last 24 hours and I guess they actually had another small earthquake.  There is no way to describe an earthquake.  The ground just moved.  I know that the Lord protected all of his servants and that is why we are okay. It is a wonderful adventure for us all.  We are doing great and nothing can stop the work from progressing. The earthquake was crazy.  We were upstairs and the house started shaking like crazy.  We all got out and waited there.  The earthquake was very strong but we could still stand up while it was shaking.  It was so crazy.  Also afterward we got a ton of rain.  It was a pretty bad looking day but we had a great day with appointments and seeing the hand of the Lord in our lives.  The hand of the Lord is amazing in His work, He is always guiding and directing our paths for the best as long as we are faithful.  It is awesome. We did get to watch general conference in English. It was super awesome. Today we have a couple lessons and we have to get groceries.
